I fell in love with graphic design while thumbing through "Graphis" magazine at the public library during my high school years. This magazine focused on the world of graphic design and I became fascinated with it and wanted to be a part of that world. I earned my BS degree in Graphic Design at San José State University. I have since worked at several design agencies and at one time owned and operated a design studio for many years. Previously, I worked at National Geographic Learning in the marketing department as a designer for several years. In my free time, I am a fine artist with a focus in woodcut and block printing.
